The Performing Arts Society is developing an increasing number of programs to benefit both its members and the communities of Contra Costa. In particular, we want to provide more assistance to children by creating more opportunities to learn music, more support through scholarships, and more venues to share their talents with the community.
To be more effective in community outreach, we will be expanding the number of venues where we provide free public concerts. We are also blessed with two fine pianos, one a Steinway D Concert Grand that is the envy of all musicians who play it.
Of course, these and other ongoing costs require that we increase our fundraising efforts to meet these needs. We have always appreciated the generosity of our members, and more recently, a grant from the Amateur Chamber Music Players (ACMP) to help with the Student Music Ensemble Workshop.
Your contribution is a vital link in creating a better future for these programs.
