COME JOIN THE NEW CCPAS STUDENT CHAPTER!

Calling classical instrumentalists and vocalists, ages 11-18, Grades 6-12!

Want to be part of a regional music organization and meet other student musicians? Then come join the new Student Chapter of the Contra Costa Performing Arts Society, a non-profit organization that has promoted the fellowship of classical musicians and vocalists and provided performance opportunities for the community since 1974. Lots of opportunities are available; meetings are optional.

Membership includes:

WORKSHOPS -- Performance Preparation, Writing a Music Resume and Bio, How to Improvise on the piano, Applying to College for Music, Recording for Audition Submissions and for YouTube, etc. 

NETWORKING -- information on performance opportunities, competitions, music camps, concerts, scholarships

ORGANIZED TRIPS -- concerts at local music venues

COMMUNITY SERVICE -- recitals at retirement and nursing homes, hospitals, benefit concerts, etc.

DIABLO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA -- student performance opportunities

CCPAS Student Concerts -- Sunday, November 6, 2011 & February 12, 2012

Student membership is $15; more information can be found in the application form.
